Engineered to work with many varieties of bicycles, side frames attach to the seat and chainstays of the bicycle, and therefore allow easy mounting. The strength of the training wheel set is as a result of the design and materials used: thick rubber tires, steel wheels rolling on steel bearings, and extra rugged fully adjustable steel stabilizers. Because the side frame stabilizers do not touch the rear wheel of the bicycle, these training wheels install without interfering in the movement of a rear derailleur. Single speed, multi speed, coaster brake, rim brake, disc brake, and width of tire do not effect compatibility. Once installed, even a rider up to 260 lbs can be held upright as they pedal along without fear of falling or feeling unbalanced. ***While this works with many bicycles, because bicycle frames and designs vary so greatly, it is in no way guaranteed to work with all bicycles.
