There are now 24 spokes on each wheel to provide additional support to account for the great forces that are exerted from the disc rotors for stopping power. The Rims are made of S6000 Aluminum with a height of 25mm. The rims are arc welded after bending resulting in a reinforcement called the Soudé Usiné Process or SUP. This results in a significantly stronger rim that handles better when braking and under pressure. You can use tires ranging from 23mm-32mm. The Steel Spokes are bladed to allow air to pass them more efficiently. The front and rear hub bodies are made of aluminum. The front axle is aluminum and the rear axle is steel. The hubs use sealed cartridge bearings for minimal maintenance. The Force Transfer System Light, or FTS-L, has reinforcements on specific components to maximize the contact area between the pawl and hub body. Along with the wheelset are the Yksion Elite Tires to accompany you on your adventures. These 120 TPI 700x25mm tires have low rolling resistance and a bead to bead nylon breaker in each tire.
